Hokkaido Road Trip – Japan’s Most Easterly Point.

This day was one of the highlights. I drove to the most easterly point of Japan, climbed out onto the rocks and watched the sun rise over an ocean of ice meeting the warmer waters of southern Hokkaido.

In the distance the disputed Russian/Japanese islands materialised into view… A morning I won’t forget!… and that was it, time for me and The Hokkaido Warrior to go back to work… 2 days turned into 6 and could have so easily become 12…but time to get back to skiing pow!
